GLP-1 Weight-Loss Medications

GLP-1 weight-loss medications work with hormones involved in appetite and blood sugar. For some patients, they can be one part of a medical weight-loss plan alongside nutrition, activity, and sleep changes.

At Everwell MD, GLP-1 weight-loss medications are prescribed only after a consultation and lab work, and only when your provider feels they’re appropriate for you. All prescribed medications are FDA-approved. They aren’t right for everyone, and your provider will go over possible side effects, who shouldn’t use them, and other options.

What to expect:

  1. Free 30-minute consultation: in person or by phone.
  2. Labs: drawn in-house at our Newport Beach clinic, or at an outside lab if you’re a remote patient.
  3. Your plan: your provider decides whether a GLP-1 weight-loss medication fits your plan, alongside the other parts of your program.
  4. Ongoing monitoring: regular check-ins, progress tracking, and dose adjustments made by your provider as needed.

Individual responses vary, and we don’t promise specific results.
